Ski Town Rotary's Routt County Fair Fundraiser a Buckin' Success

The Ski Town USA Morning Rotary Club once again hosted a fundraiser at this year's Routt County Fair in Hayden, Colo., by organizing and staffing a Beer Garden August 18-20 at the Routt County Fairgrounds.

Members of The Ski Town USA Morning Rotary ClubR had a tent set up on site to serve beer (and other assorted beverages) at the award-winning Routt County Fair on Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening, coinciding with the various fair events scheduled—from the crash-'em-up Demolition Derby to livestock events, a youth rodeo, animal costume contest, bonfire and the Saturday evening concert by country legend Ned Ledoux.

The Morning Rotary Club was hand to help attendees enjoy the events while raising funds for its local grants, scholarships and other philanthropic endeavors.

"It was a great, fun-filled way to both support the Fair and raise money for our important causes at the same time," says Club president Rob Knutson. "Combined with all the events going on at the Fair, it was a great time for everyone who was involved."
